about the artist
Tamsen Taves was born in Central California in 2001 and drawn to art at an early age. She was a mostly self-taught artist until college, where she began taking workshops from Daniel Keys and various art courses to further learn and improve her art. With oil and pastel as favorite mediums, Tamsen focuses on painting from life and working on a variety of subjects to broaden her skills, and especially enjoys painting en plein air and still life. She currently studying at a 4-year university, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Fine Art.
