about the artist

Brian Boroski’s passion is art and nature. Having earned a doctorate in Wildland Resource Science from the University of California, Berkeley and working as an ecologist for over 35 years, he is intimately familiar with natural communities. Brian has contributed to numerous scientific publications on wildlife-habitat relationships and has presented at scientific venues throughout the United States and internationally. He is a traditionally trained artist, studying directly from master artists including Daniel J. Keys, Albert Handel, David Leffel, and William Schneider. Brian is a member of the California Art Club and historic Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts, and has exhibited in juried shows in California and Illinois. Through painting, Brian conveys the holistic expression of nature, transporting the viewer to a shared place and time where the beauty of nature can be experienced.
